Ed Ozzie and I met two years after he graduated from University of Illinois - Champaign (1949).  He was employed by Northwestern Mutual Insurance Company located in the Insurance Exchange Building in downtown Chicago, working as an underwriter, and later by the George W. Roberts agency. Ed worked as an underwriter until 1961 when he and George F. Baumann formed a partnership and began the successful Baumann & Ozzie Insurance Agency.  The busy agency thrived for twenty-five years until Ed's partial retirement in 1986, and he continued working as a producer for a Park Ridge insurance agency until full retirement. 1997 - Ed Ozzie having a cigar [200]
